Statistical Measurement of Economic Analysis: Methods and Approaches for Sustainable, Innovative, and Digital Planning

In particular, the special issue calls for papers, dedicated to the 3rd Italian Conference on Economic Statistics (ICES), focuses on the measurement of three key aspects of socio-economic dynamics—sustainability, innovation, and digital transformation - in different contexts (labour market, cultural heritage, SDG, energy sector, technology transfer, and AI applications in forecasting market dynamics, evaluating regional economic performance, and digital accessibility). Contributions employing novel statistical methods and approaches are encouraged. The inclusion of spatial and temporal dimensions is strongly recommended, as understanding these topics across regions and over time is crucial for a thorough analysis.
